2-teilige große runde Servierplatte mit Cloche 1940er Jahre

hergestellt in phantastischer schwerer Qualität von
WMF (Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik)
Punzierung sowohl rückseitig auf dem Teller als auch auf der Innenwand der Cloche

für ein ehemaliges Berliner Hotel, das nicht mehr existiert.
Interessantes Hotel-Signet: Berliner Bär auf Symbol der geteilten Stadt
befindet sich sowohl auf dem Teller als auch auf der Cloche

Teller: ∅ ca. 31,5 cm – ∅ vertiefter Spiegel ca. 20 cm – Höhe ca. 3 cm

2-teilige Kombination: Besteht aus einer großen runden Servierplatte mit passender Abdeckhaube/ Cloche.
Die Platte in schwerer Qualität, vertiefter Spiegel, umlaufend breite, gestufte Fahne – Messingboden, geeignet
für Rechaud – sowie einer Haube/Cloche in runder Grundform mit leicht konisch zulaufender Wandung,
schließt an der Öffnung umlaufend mit einem ca. 0,5 cm breiten Bördel ab. Deckel mit Griffmulde.

Äußerst gepflegter Zustand mit normalen alters- und verwendungsbedingten Gebrauchsspuren in Form von
Putzspuren, Kratzern, kleinere Dellen/ Bestoßungen – partielle Bereibung Innenseite Cloche – übrige originale
Versilberung ist sehr gut erhalten.

Tolles Ensemble in hochwertiger alter Hotelsilber-Qualität, geeignet für verschiedene Speisen.
Auch in der Cloche läßt sich hervorragend ein Eintopf oder ein Pasta-Gericht stilvoll und kreativ servieren
und bleibt bei Tisch lange heiß.

Originally produced for a former Berlin hotel that no longer exists.
Interesting hotel emblem: the Berlin Bear above the symbol of the divided city,
featured on both the platter and the cloche.

Platter: diameter approx. 12.4 in – recessed center approx. 7.9 in – height approx. 1.2 in

2-piece combination: consisting of a large round serving platter with a matching cover/cloche.
The platter is of heavy quality with a recessed center and a wide, tiered rim – brass base, suitable for use with a rechaud 
and a cloche of round shape with slightly tapered walls, finishing with a rolled rim approx. 0.5 cm (0.2 in) wide.
The lid features an integrated grip recess.

Extremely well-preserved condition with normal age- and use-related signs of wear such as
polishing marks, scratches, small dents or edge bumps, and some rubbing on the inner side of the cloche.
The remaining original silver plating is very well preserved.

A beautiful ensemble of high-quality vintage hotel silver, suitable for serving a variety of dishes.
The cloche also allows for stylish and creative presentation of stews or pasta dishes,
which stay hot at the table for a long time.
