Versilberte TellerSaucière um 1903

hergestellt in massiver Ausführung von WMF (Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik)
bodenseitig punziert

für das legendäre Hotel Sacher, Wien
Hotel Signet mittig an der Außenwand der Saucière

Maße: ovaler Teller ca. 24 x 14 cm – Gesamthöhe a. 12 cm – Volumen ca. 300 ml – Gewicht ca. 1680 g

Schlichter ovaler Teller mit vertieftem Spiegel und umlaufendem Außenrand mit Rautendekor auf
fünffachem Faden. Dekor wiederholt sich an der Saucière sowohl am Sockel, als auch beidseitig  an der Öffnung
und am kantigen SaucièrenGriff. Breiter, erhöhter Ausgießer, der spitz zuläuft. Saucière ist mit dem Teller
verschraubt, wodurch das Säubern erleichtert wird.

Äußerst gepflegter Zustand mit geringen alters- und nutzungsbedingten Gebrauchsspuren, die jedoch
unbedeutend sind. Versilberung ist komplett erhalten.

Silver-Plated Sauce Boat with Tray, circa 1903

Manufactured in solid construction by WMF (Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik),
hallmarked on the underside.

Made for the legendary Hotel Sacher, Vienna.
Hotel insignia engraved in the center of the sauce boat’s outer wall.

Dimensions:
Oval tray approx. 9.45 x 5.51 in – total height approx. 4.72 in – capacity approx. 10 fl oz (300 ml) 
weight approx. 3.7 lb (59.3 oz / 1680 g).

Simple oval tray with a recessed mirror and a surrounding outer rim featuring a diamond pattern on a quintuple thread.
This décor is repeated on the sauce boat itself—on the base, on both sides of the opening, and on the angular handle.
Wide, elevated spout tapering to a point. The sauce boat is screwed to the tray, making cleaning easier.

Excellent, well-preserved condition with only minor age- and use-related signs of wear, which are insignificant.
The silver plating is completely intact.
