Die in Blattform gearbeitete Schale steht
auf zwei Kugelfüßen. Der nach unten ge-
schwungene Blattstiel bildet gleichzeitig
den dritten Fuß als auch den Griff der
Schale.
Gepflegter Zustand mit normalen alters-
und nutzungsbedingten Gebrauchsspuren
wie Putzspuren, zarte Kratzer, partiellem
minimalem Abrieb. Originale Versilberung
ist gut erhalten.

Das Hôtel Martinez ist eines der wenigen
wirklichen Art Déco Grandhotels  an der
Promenade de la Croisette in Cannes .
Es wurde am 20. Februar 1929 von
Emmanuel Michele Martinez, Sohn von
Baron Giovanni Martinez und Giuseppa
Labiso Costanza, eröffnet. Die beiden
stammten aus einer italienischen Adels-
familie spanischer Abstammung aus
Palermo

This leaf-shaped bowl stands on two ball feet.
The downward-curving leaf stem also forms
the third foot as well as the handle of the bowl.

Well-kept condition with normal age- and use-
related signs of wear such as polishing marks,
light scratches, and minor partial wear.
The original silver plating is well preserved.

The Hôtel Martinez is one of the few true
Art Deco grand hotels on the Promenade
de la Croisette in Cannes.
It was opened on February 20, 1929, by
Emmanuel Michele Martinez, son of
Baron Giovanni Martinez and Giuseppa
Labiso Costanza. They came from an
Italian noble family of Spanish descent
from Palermo.
