6 seltene versilberte Eisspaten um 1900

je Löffel ca. 14 cm Länge
je Laffe ca. 4 x 2,5 cm
Gesamtgewicht ca. 149 g

Eisspaten wurden in qualitätsvoller Arbeit
im Augsburger-Faden-Muster hergestellt,
mit Laffen in Form eines abgeflachten Spatens.
Sehr schöner Zustand mit normalen alters-
und nutzungsbedingten Gebrauchsspuren
in Form von Putzspuren, zarten Kratzern.
Originale Versilberung ist komplett erhalten.

Das Metropole Cabaret gehörte in den
1920er Jahren zu den bekanntesten
Etablissements dieser Art in Paris. Die
Revuen mit dem Ballett-Ensemble waren
beliebt nicht nur wegen der Jugend und
Schönheit der Tänzerinnen, sondern auch
wegen ihrer qualifizierten Ausbildung im
klassischen Ballett Tanz. Großartige
Künstler verkehrten im Laufe der Jahre im
Metropole Cabaret: Edith Piaf, Maurice
Chevalier. Und auch Frank Sinatra gehörte
während seiner Parisaufenthalte zu den
illustren Gästen des Cabarets.

The ice spades were crafted to a high standard
in the Augsburg “thread” pattern,
with bowls shaped like flattened spades.
Very fine condition with normal age- and use-
related wear in the form of polishing marks
and light surface scratches. The original silver
plating is fully intact.

In the 1920s, the Metropole Cabaret was
among the most famous establishments of
its kind in Paris. Its revues featuring a ballet
ensemble were popular not only for the
youth and beauty of the dancers, but also
for their highly qualified training in classical
ballet. Over the years, great artists frequented
the Metropole Cabaret, including Édith Piaf
and Maurice Chevalier. Frank Sinatra was
also among the distinguished guests during
his stays in Paris.
